Anillo Vial Periférico

The Peripheral Ring Road P3 (Anillo Vial Periférico) in Lima constitutes one of the largest transport infrastructures in Peru. This 34.8-kilometer urban highway will transform the mobility in the metropolitan area of Lima, connecting 11 districts of Lima’s Metropolitan Area and one in Callao. 

 

The contract comprises the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance. The new infrastructure will include toll-free side lanes in both directions to ease the city’s connectivity and will promote cutting-edge technologies to ensure the roads’ alignment to the highest safety and efficiency standards. These innovative systems will involve Asset Management and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Building Information Management (BIM), among others. 

 

The Peripheral Ring Road will significantly alleviate traffic congestion between Lima and Callao. Construction works are expected to create more than 70,000 jobs (direct and indirect), revitalizing local and regional economy. The project will improve the mobility of more than 4.5 million people.
