In operation since 2006, the Eresma Motorway contract included the construction and redaction of the project, as well as the conservation and operation during 35 years of the southern section of the A-601. This infrastructure, known as "Autovía de Pinares", is considered one of the strategic axes of the region as it connects the cities of Valladolid and Segovia through a high-capacity road. It also serves as an alternative route that connects the center of the country via the Valladolid-Palencia-Santander axis and the Valladolid-León axis.
