Buin-Paine Hospital
The project includes the construction of the health facility located in the commune of Buin, Metropolitan Region, with an estimated total investment of UF 2.94 Mn (USD 120 Mn) and a capacity of 200 beds, six wings, 17 procedure units, 16 Emergency Service Units and 34 consultation units, among other facilities. The quality of care will be kept at the core in a context in which it is estimated that the hospital will benefit a population of around 170,000 people.
The Concessionaire will be responsible for the integral development of the designs, the execution of civil works, the integral implementation of the clinical, administrative and industrial equipment, as well as the operation of the mandatory basic and special services.
The Concessionaire of the project is the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), and the term of the Concession is 4 years of construction period (including 2 months of start-up at its completion) and 15 years of operation.
Sacyr Concesiones has successfully closed the US$ 144 million financing with Banco Estado de Chile.
The project is part of the "Health Investment Plan 2018 - 2022" presented by the Chilean Ministry of Health, which includes a total of 57 new hospitals with more than 4,000 new beds by 2026 and an estimated total investment of USD 10,000 million.
