Sacyr Melbourne Composting Facility
Dandenong South Composting Facility is the most advanced composting system in the country, featuring in-vessel technology, air treatment and indoor maturation. Producing certified Australian Standard compost, the facility is already a key piece of infrastructure for Melbourne, allowing the introduction of food into existing council garden waste programs. Helping to reduce food waste to landfill, the Dandenong South Facility is already positively impacting recycling rates.
