One of our primary objectives is to generate a positive impact on the territories and communities surrounding our assets. In line with this commitment to create value, we carried out a volunteer day in the vicinity of our Pirámides-Tulancingo-Pachuca Highway P3. The activity consisted of a tree-planting experience in the Ventoquipa spring.
The team was supported by their families and local inhabitants. Together, they participated in the sowing of 50 trees of different species, such as oaks, ahuehuetes and white cedars. The volunteers also repurposed recycled tires from our P3, after decorating and restoring them they were used to protect the planted trees.
The Pirámides-Tulancingo-Pachuca P3 marked our inaugural road project in Mexico. Along its 183-kilometer span we have introduced several innovations, such as the rubblizing technique or the RARx additive for the pavement, that have contributed to the project’s sustainability.
