Colombia has become one of the benchmark countries in our P3 portfolio. The awarding of the Puerta del Hierro Highway in 2015 marked the beginning of our activity in the country and, since then, we have continued to increase our presence in the region, where we actively contribute to enhance connectivity and sustainability. We currently have 5 road P3 projects under management and are going to start to develop the most significant socio-environmental performance in Colombia:
a project to restore the degraded ecosystems in Canal del Dique. The use of state-of-the-art technology and the integration of social and environmental responsibility criteria will allow us to reach the highest environmental standards with regard to the treatment of the autochthonous flora and fauna, as well as to promote the collaboration with the country’s local communities.
