Eresma Motorway, a concessionaire of the Junta de Castilla y León S.A. has been operational since 2006. This infrastructure known as "Autovía de Pinares" is considered as one of the strategic axes of the region because it connects the cities of Valladolid and Segovia through a high capacity road but it also serves as an alternative route that connects the center of the country via the Valladolid-Palencia-Santander axis and the Valladolid-León axis.
